Historical talk: David Carder

Wonder what life was like during 17th and 18th century England?
The Stuart period (1603-1714) was a time of religious and political turmoil with the English Civil War, restoration of the monarchy, and the Great Fire of London. It was also a time of scientific exploration, discovery and invention. Local historian, David Carder takes us back in time to reveal what life was like for those that lived during the Stuart period and the developments that led to the Industrial Revolution.

Time: Doors open 7.15, talk starts at 7.30 prompt
Venue: Rochester Community Hub, High Street, Rochester, ME1 1EW.
Tickets: members £3 and non-members £5
No need to book. Payment taken at the door (cash only please)
