Rochester Town Council: Making it happen
22nd October. 2015
Now that we have handed in our petition, we are planning the next stage of our campaign. This is where we need your help!
You are warmly invited to attend our next event on Monday 23rd November at St Peters Church, Delce Road, Rochester, called “Rochester Town Council – Making It Happen”.
This event is open to anybody who wants Rochester to have a Town Council or – at the very least – would to know a bit more about our campaign.
This event has two goals:
First, we want you to tell us what you would like a future Town Council to do for you and your community. We want to hear as many ideas as possible and we want to find out which ideas are most popular.
Second, we want build momentum behind our campaign to ensure that Rochester Town Council happens. We will hear from an experienced campaigner who has helped local community groups set up numerous new councils across Kent. But most of all, we want to hear ideas from you.
So, please join us at 7:30pm* at St Peter’s Church on Monday 23rd November to help shape the future of your town and your community!
To help us plan refreshments, I would be most grateful if you could let me know that you plan to join us at this event by replying to this email (or by joining the event on Facebook).
With best wishes
* We will open the doors and start serving tea and coffee at 7pm
